Thank you.

I know there was no one calling for a speech, but you’re getting one anyway. Friday was our second birthday and it was a pretty emotional day. I genuinely didn’t expect anyone to care, so all the birthday wishes were heartwarming to read and made me reflect on just how far the label has come.

It sounds a bit of a cliche but its been a total rollercoaster ride of emotions. From the lows of almost inadvertentently splitting up buzzbands to the highs of getting to release some of your favourite bands, inviting them to play in your hometown and then drunkenly sharing pizza on yr parents sofa at 5am.

Two years ago me and Rich burnt 100 promo CD’s of our first release, before realising we hadn’t set the computer up correctly and had basically just created 100 spherical shiny turds/wasted £25. Two years on and things have got a little more organised, in the past year we have released one compilation (as a map), 3 cassette EP’s (one of which was stocked in a cigarette packet), a CD EP in a large photobook, our second ever 7” single (with the most exciting bands in the world) and 17 pizza singles. Phew! Whether you’ve streamed one of those releases, told your friends about it, stocked it in your shop or even bought a copy, we thank you. We owe you our entire existence, and I say that with entire sincerity. So once again thanks, here’s to the next 12 months and another 12 after that!

As a thank you we have decided to give one of you the chance to become our official bff. The prize will include a copy of every release we put out for the next year as well as free entry to any gigs we put on. To enter simply head over to our Facebook and click like on the photo of our year 2 releases. A winner will be picked at random this Tuesday sometime around midnight.
