BEST FRIENDS - Throwing Up

Best Friends are a Sheffield four piece that we’ve been fans of since their very first demos started getting posted around. Their debut EP was 7 tracks of garage surf pop that perfectly embodied hazy summer days and we’re pleased to say their second EP ‘Throwing Up’ is much more of the same.

Being suckers for non conventional packaging we have worked with the band to put together a 21cm square 12 page photo booklet of halloween parties, crowdsurfing at house shows and other rad photos. The CD is encased within the booklet itself. At the risk of sounding terribly middle class, its a bit like one of those coffee table books but with a CD inside - released on March 25th the first day of summer.

Over the course of 2012 we will be putting out a new single every other week. Each single will be available for free download from our site and Bandcamp on Friday afternoons. Accompanying each release will be a one of a kind pizza CD, incased in a 5" pizza box. Limited to just one copy, the first person to purchase it from our Bandcamp will be the owner of something very special indeed.

Tracklisting & Artwork revealed

It’s been a long time coming, but finally we have some news about our first release - Brink of The Clouds. A Compilation featuring the South West’s nine best (our favourite) alternative/indie/lo-fi bands. This release serves as a blueprint for where we hope to head in the coming months and years. To be released on a limited run of tshirts September 2010.
